Hello all, I have installed a NEMO-0.2 testbed with 2 egress interfaces and activated multihoming on the MR. Here are my Questions:
1. I can't make IPsec-Tunnelmode work, to secure the "payload" from the Mobile-Network. IPsec-Transport-Mode works fine for the signaling between HA and MR. Does the implmentation support tunnel-mode yet, or not? 2. Eth0 is my prefered interface and eth2 is for backup. I have no wireless connections. When I manually cut the cable from eth0, the MR make a move to that Foreign-Network, where eth2 is connected. The Handover-duration is about 1 second in the middle. After that I put eth0 to a bridge "br0" (just with brctl) and eth2 to the bridge "br2" and write the bridges in /etc/nemod.conf. Br0 is prefered in that case. So I'am making a move just in drop eth0 brom br0 with: brctl delif br0 eth0 Here the Handover is only 10ms long. (The RTT from MR to the HA is 2 ms) Why is the Handover with the bridges so much faster? What is the more realistic time when I use wireless Interfaces for eth0 and eth2? Thank you for answering.
