Hello all,

I am working with the following scenario:
1. MN is connected to the Home network
2. MN connects to the Visited network (using the other network interface)
3. MN disconnects from the Home network (unplugging the cable in my case)
4. MN performs handover to the visited network (sends BU)

The problem is (at least for me) that the time from disconnection to sending BU is too long (up to 15 seconds). From the logs I have understand that there is some expiration timeout for the old connection and until expiring this timeout there is no action done for finding some new connection (even if the old connection is lost and the new is already available). So I'd like to ask you some questions:

Is there any possibility to shorten this timeout - i.e. if it is some static (at best configurable) value or it depends on some other values? I tried to speed up network advertisements but it didn't help.

Can you give me a hint where I can find the code which triggers the handover process, so I can try to hack it to my needs? For example to start doing "something" right after the current connection is lost.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards,

Michal
