Dear zarrar,

Thank you very much for the reply.

I have looked at the RFC 3775 and its correct that
0.003 is the minimum radvd interval.

How ever, i set it to such high time because i wanted
to test if my node is sending Router Solicitation or
not.

When the MN connects to a foreign link, regardless of
the router advertisement time, it should send Router
Solicitation right?

Once router solicitation is received, the router
replies with the Router Advertisement regardless of
the router advertisement interval right?

In my case, i dont see the router advertisement
packet?

By the way i am shifting link by using the command
"iwconfig ra0 essid foreignlink" and not physically
moving my laptop. does this have any effect?

thanks again,
shariq
