Hello Sabeeh, hello all, the HA behaviour I described on February, 22nd can be avoided if the ping6 application is started with the "-I ip6tnl1" option. In this case, the ICMPv6 message "Echo Request" from the MN to the HA and "Echo Reply" message from the HA to the MN will be sent to through the MIPv6 tunnel between the MN and the HA. In this case, no Binding Error messages can be observed and the MIPv6 operation of the MN is not broken.
