Dear colleague. The problem which is a disconnection between a mobile node and a correspondent node during handoff is a problem with your MIPL configuration. Also, if your MIPL goes well, I suggest that the position of packet capture should be changed, i.e., the node on the routing path between a mobile node and a correspondent node.

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried pinging in conjunction with Ethereal. Then, I wrote a parser to extract the handover times from the etheral output. It works quite well. Though, I have run into the problem where the connection between the correspondent node and the mobile node drops after the mobile node switches networks a couple times. I tried it several times, and, everytime, after some varying number of handovers, the connection would stop and the MN and the CN would be unable to ping each other. They both still retain their routes and addresses, so I'm confused as to why this occurs. Has anyone else noticed this behavior? Thanks for all your help. I greatly appreciate it.
