---------------
Hi,

I have an Alpha 400, and have gotten root access and put a Debian root
into place on an SD card. So now I've disabled the X/GUI startup, and
would be pretty happy with all that available RAM in a Debian CLI
environment except that the eth1 interface for the WiFi doesn't exist.
I can easily do the necessary CLI stuff to get wpa_supplicant and such
set up, but what do I need to do to create the eth1 instanced? eth0,
the physical LAN port, is there. The zd1211b module is present, so
obviously there's some little bit of arcana I'm missing. Any help would
be most appreciated!

BTW, if I bring up the GUI and use their app, WiFi comes up no problem,
and I can then see eth1. But what does it do to bring it into
existence?

Thanks,
Andy Valencia
