Hi all,
I would like to install usb_modeswitch on my Lenny system but the
package is not part of Lenny. But of Squeeze:
http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/usb-modeswitch
So, what is the right syntax to install a package through apt-get
coming from a different release? According to http://linux.die.net/man/8/apt-get
it should be possible by adding a / and the version name, i.e.
apt-get install usb_modeswitch/squeeze
But does it have to be added to the sources.list first? Or is it
possible through the -o option to temporarily override the sources.list?
BR,
Nikolaus
