Mail is perfect for good technical discussions. But since you
are going a high speed, people that can't cope with what you
occasionally need a hands on live help :-).
Discussion traffic usually is very low on irc.

I am not the right person right now for the discussion ;-). Still
need to tend to some bugs and do some virtualisation stuff and
then support the company of the girlfriend :-(.
