Yes, it should just changing the configuration to "M", recompiling the kernel
from sources and copying the uImage and the new modules to the SD card.

Ruben recently mentioned that some Mipsbook models don't have WiFi built
in and that he is using an external WiFi adapter connected to USB. The only
thing to keep in mind is that interfaces are not USB 2.0, i.e. you won't get 11n
speed.
