Hi Andy,
It looks lkike it is a VIA ARM CPU-based VT8500 SOC. Check these forums: http://devio.us/~nextvolume/via_arm/viewtopic.php?id=3&t_id=4 http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1349626 For terminals you may need the following package: sysv-rc from debian distro creates /etc/rcX.d (where X is the number of terminals) For compiling kernel modules for 3rd party hardware: - link the /lib/modules/2.6.XX/build to the sourcefiles of the kernel - install libssl-dev from debian distro Grt Ruben. > To: mipsbook-devel@linuxtogo.org > From: ajv-695-691-0...@vsta.org > Date: Sun, 19 Sep 2010 16:34:07 -0700 > Subject: [Mipsbook-devel] Easy PC > > -------- > So while my Alpha 400 limps along (base system not bootable due to NAND > overwrite; 2.6 kernel with very flaky WiFi on SD) I came across an "Easy PC" > "E700 Linux Series".
