make this more useful with actual fonts
note that this will probably still need to wait for hashtable-backed arrays
in mksh… it took over ten CPU minutes to compress the 18x18ko.bdf (the one
amended by GNU Unifont, with 43795 glyphs) and about nine to decompress it,
and I don’t believe it’s me writing x+=("$y") ipv set -A x+ -- "$y" or the
strict check upon decompression… still, decent results, everything works in
the cases it should (ENCODING -1 is not supported), and the savings in file
lines (important for CVS) are factor ten to twenty-five(!) as imagined…
