Log message:
My art and craft permit us to use Mode_switch on XFree86® with xterm now❦
This allows us to:
• completely eliminate the “gnu” branch (use CVS HEAD, or “grml”)
• make the keycodes (kbd vs. evdev) be the o̲n̲l̲y̲ difference between these two
• completely document the layout graphically (well, WTF-8ically…)
Other changes:
• Alt_L is Mode_switch, but <>| is now Compose
• stop touching the Thinkpad keys
• reduce delta to setxkbmap-provided layout, add aliases
• also, some cosmetic fixes
The “gnuwin” layout was also rebased on HEAD, but closer to the NT one:
• stop switching Escape and accent gravis
