┌──┤ mksh R42b and R41c released ├───────────────────────────────────┐

│ The [37]MirBSD Korn Shell must-have bugfix releases R42b (for the │
│ current formal release series) and R41c (for the last bugfix-only │
│ stable series) have been issued. Debian testing/unstable users get │
│ the fixes through their package management, versioned │
│ 40.9.20120630-7 targetting wheezy (hopefully). Debian experimental │
│ users will receive a 42b-1 upload, closer to what other distro │
│ packages provide, soonish, targetting jessie. │
│ │
│ Since we lack anything better (that, unless Freshmeat, is actually │
│ usable), by request of our packagers, new [38]mksh(1) releases │
│ will be announced on our [39]miros-mksh@ mailing list starting │
│ now. │

Since this isn’t pushed to the website yet:
The miros-mksh@ mailing list is open for postings from the public, for
discussions, and from me for announcements. All these will also be
gated to miros-discuss@ so if you’re on that already, no need to do
anything. (GMane might disagree with that.) It will also, eventually,
receive mksh commit mails, which will n̲o̲t̲ show up on miros-discuss@.
Otherwise, I urge you, if you’re a packager or power user, to subscribe
to the miros-mksh@ mailing list, either by dropping me an eMail (also
postmaster${at}mirbsd${point}org), or using GMane in its RSS, Usenet
(NNTP) or Web flavours: ‣‣‣ http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.os.miros.mksh
┌──┤ spamtrap disclaimer ├───────────────────────────────────────────┐
│ Do not send any eMail to [40][email protected], [41][email protected], │
│ or [42][email protected] – it won’t do any good to you. │
└────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
The distfiles are up on www.mirbsd.org/MirOS/ already; allbsd.org
syncs them nightly at roughly 04:10 UTC as usual, so they’ll be there
tomorrow.
Sorry for brevity, I’m suffering from headaches over the last weeks.
bye,
