OK, so my suggestion from 2008 has been moved forward somewhat [
http://marc.info/?l=miros-discuss&m=122350835004951]
"FEATURE:
How about timestamping in the history file?"
The response at the time was:
"To be honest,
I'm actually opposed to persistent history files anyway"
But obviously that is now possible...
So the question is if timestamping somehow possible now or is it a feature I
can request again {ex. export HISTTIMEFORMAT="%F %T "}?
The AIX version of ksh93 supports it (export EXTENDED_HISTORY=ON ; fc -t) and
so do many other shells so I thought I would throw it out there again.
Thanks for all of the hard work.
