Hello Thorsten, i reproducibly fail to reproduce it, but regulary, once in a while (sometimes multiple times in a week, but sometimes not at all, in a week) i run into the situation where after a job control event (like placing a less(1) instance in the background) the following command line doesn't get key sequences like cursor-left etc. right, i.e., doesn't interpret them, e.g. (from memory)
$ ^[[D (or whatever ;). It is enough to hit RETURN, the next command line will then work correctly again. Like i've said, i cannot give you a guideline on how to get into the state where the above happens, and i cannot even tell when it started (was it before R48? I don't know, but no, i think not), but i finally thought i should remark it. Ciao, --steffen
