Hi everyone,

I guess I should announce mksh R49 here as well, even though
it’s mostly an intermediate “release what’s there” release.

Known issues:

• 1 “expected fail” in the testsuite (it will not change the
return status, and it will show up as expected, to distinguish
from the unexpected failures); I’ll need to model a forth state
into the IFS-WS state machine to fix that, I guess

• The new shell code to generate some files at build time may
not work with extremely ancient shells such as Coherent’s.
  ‣ Workaround: build with the previously built version of mksh.
  ‣ Fix: in a next release, the code will be rewritten in C,
which means build-depending on a *host* C compiler, in
addition to the *target* C compiler we’re already using.
(This is *WRT nomenclature, not toolchain nomenclature.
In toolchain, we need a build one in addition to host one.)

Thank you for travelling with MirBSD Korn Shell, enjoy,
send feedback, especially good one, and see you at FOSDEM!
(Seek me at http://coord.info/GC4V7ZQ since I’m not at
a fixed booth.)

bye,
