Thankfully I can build recent versions of the OpenSMTPD against LibresSLL
2.1.3 since the FreeBSD port maintainer recently updated both the release
and devel versions.
I'll be sure to post any issues building the snapshot in the mentioned git
issue.
FreeBSD users, these are the options you want in /etc/make.conf if you
want to build against LibreSSL
OPENSSL_PORT=security/libressl
WITH_OPENSSL_PORT=yes
OPENSSL_SHLIBVER=30
