This amused the FreeBSD developers using the network to no end (the above is from one of our conferences).

I've since put in a cheap gigabit card to deal with the high volume traffic and let the Soekris board handle the other lower volume networks. So far that seems to work, but hasn't been tested at the same load level, and won't be until our next large conference.

I'm using an older build on older hardware so your experience may differ.
