Because many people don't realize that while OpenBSD is a Unix-ish Operating System, it's meant to be taken as a whole, and reading documentation isn't something many people do as a first (or even second) step.
The fact that for many things in the computer world, you can't even GET a printed manual, pushes documentation down the list of things to check. ~Donald > Maybe I'm missing something, but why would you want to mix versions like > this?
