Before I start following sparc@ (if I go ahead with this): I recently "inherited" a Sun ELC. It's an ancient all-in-one thing that looks kinda neat.
According to the sparc page it's a supported model but I'm not sure how beefy this thing would be. Obviously it's no dual Opteron box but would I be looking at very-ballpark Mac 68040 performance? That's what I'm most familiar with as far as OpenBSD on the old hardware goes. I don't want to get much slower than that.* gg (* Unlike Nick H, I value my time. ;) </real_cheap_shot>)
