Guys,

I like the usb flash idea. This actually isn't my computer. My friend
donated it for the apartment. He gave it b/c it was struck by
lightning. I don't even know if it works yet. He took out all the
salvagable parts except 1G of RDRAM (yuck) and a firewire card (which
I used) and a floppy. Considering I have a lone DVD drive at home that
I could install I would have totally: 1G of RDRAM (don't know if it
even works b/c of lightning), some usb flash drive, a floppy drive,
and a dvd drive.

I thought about the suggestions and decided picobsd is quite
deprecated although it is based on a strong TCP/IP stack. So is
OpenBSD. Whatever. Anyways, considering I have those items, I'd like
to set up this box as an authentication server (namely Kerberos V) and
a DNS server (namely BIND). I'm a newbie in both fields and would like
this to be a learning process as well for me. Can someone give me
instructions of how to go about this for any OS except Linux (hehe)?
Thanks
