I have never noticed these before in the dmesg, but recently my openbsd server has been hanging on fdc0 for longer then usual on boot, and immediately following fdc0 is biomask, netmask, ttymask, each followed with a hex. Just curious what this is?

in the dmesg its just a single line

fdc0 at isa0 port 0x3f0/6 irq 6 drq 2
biomask fffd netmask fffd ttymask ffff

I couldnt find any meaningful information anywhere on the net. nor could i find anything about it on the openbsd.org pages or in any man or info pages.

Could someone please let me know what these are for or point me to some good doc's on them?

Thanks

Robert
