Yesterday I tried to install an OpenBSD 3.7-RELEASE to an ASUS S8K
motherboard. The install cd failed to boot, because I get the following
error:
wd0 (pciide0:0:0): timeout
type: ata
c_bcount: 512

pciide0:0:0: bus-master DMA error: missing interrupt, status=0x21
But it's okey.
I did this:
boot> boot -c
UKC> change wd
change (y/n) ? y
channel [-1] ? -1
flags [0] ? 0xff0
UKC> quit
Then I could finished the install. Later I fetched the latest
-rOPENBSD_3_7 src and compiled a new GENERIC kernel and I fixed the
security alerts.
I used
config -e -u -o /bsd.new /bsd
UKC> change wd
change (y/n) ? y
channel [-1] ? -1
flags [0] ? 0xff0
UKC> quit
To boot.
But now, I cannot see cd0.
it's a TSSTcorp, CD/DVDW.
What should be the problem?
