Ahhhh... that's what I said. The DBA absolutely MUST be able to do work
on the SQLserver if there is any connection possible at all and the
dial-in connection is what my customer uses for out-of-band maintenance
even when the internet connection is not down. That's what they have
now and they won't hear any discussion about how reliable their
connection is plus the low probability of the server having a problem
at the same time as the internet link.

They pays the bills and promptly too. I plays their choice of tune if
it is at all feasible.
