Well I use opsf6d in production (for a small setup), when you know what issues you have to deal with its ok. To sum up: - No LSAs sent for passive interfaces. Patch available on misc/tech - opsf6d crashes when ip addresses are added to interfaces or when interfaces are removed. Patch available on misc/tech - opsf6d crashes on ospf6ctl reload. (No that big a deal...) - ospf6d does not support stub routes (Would be nice for carp interfaces -> like ospfd does announce the backup routes...) - ospf6d does not support multiple areas (AFAIK) But having this points in mind, it does work okay. (It sure works better than static routing or stuff like ripng. You might even use quagga I don't know if its more stable though...)
