Judging from the number of replies, I think it is safe to say we have no idea what you are talking about. If your system is not booting without a CDROM drive attached, you have a system configuration issue, not an OpenBSD issue, nor a softraid issue. If that's not what you were saying, please provide hard facts of: * Exactly what you did * Exactly what you expected to happen * Exactly what you saw happen. And read over the appropriate section in FAQ2, please. What you provided above was interpretations, which were probably at least partly incorrect. Nick.
