Make sure it isn't using the nVidia video chipset.
Some of them have Intel video--you should check for that and verify
X knows about it already.
When I got my W500 neither wireless or ethernet was yet supported,
but they were added perhaps 6 to 8 weeks later. The video question
is the hard one.
The latest T series do look good. When a friend orders one later on
in the summer I'll steal it and test it and report on misc@ if others
haven't.
