The defalt setup includes capture of most of the interesting stuff,
check what's in your /var/log/messages and any compressed+rotated
archives. For more recent data, the output of the dmesg command gives
you the entire buffer, which in some cases spans several boots, and of
course you can look in /var/run/dmesg.boot
