Peter answered this part already. (Or if you're talking about a recursive
resolver, that just works for v4+v6 without any extra configuration).

A different random number generator is used, and there's more separation between
the privileged code (needed to bind port 53) and the unprivileged code used for
most functions.

The version of BIND in OpenBSD is an older version, has no DNSSEC support,
but also hasn't been affected by a few of the bugs which have been found
relatively recently (including CVE-2011-1910).
