Now I've no idea what happened, I powered off the machine, removed the graphics power card, enabled the onboard radaeon, enabled plug & play OS in bios, and sound started to work. Then I went back to the radeon 5700, disabled plug & play OS, disabled the onboard controller, and sound still works. When the machine is booting I hear a loud pop from the speakers. I've no idea what happened. -- Christiano Farina HAESBAERT Do NOT send me html mail.
