Whatever you are trying to accomplish, I think you are going about it
wrong. I presume this has to do with the other fragmentary and

Let's start completely over.
What goal are you trying to accomplish?
How did you try to accomplish that goal?
What problem are you running into in the attempt to achieve that goal?
What did you do to encounter that problem?
and..tell us all about the hardware you are trying to accomplish this
goal with...which is done by giving us the dmesg.
Plan on spending a good half-hour (or a LOT more!) putting all your
facts and story together. Spend MORE time asking your question
carefully than you expect those of us who are providing you with free
assistance to spend figuring out what you are trying to do.
