No, WM_CLASS includes the *resource* name, and the class, which has nothing to do with WM_NAME. Yes, WM_CLASS should be used, because this property cannot change once the window has left the WithDrawn state when it's mapped. Please do not confuse the resource property of WM_CLASS with the window's WM_NAME. -- Thomas Adam
