Hi, I am guessing this is just a case of user-does-not-know-how-to-configure-things.
I just installed a new snapshot (sep-07); the last snapshot, with source builds, I had been running was from a few months back (late June-ish). After the install I noticed a few changes with X right away. First thing to notice is that I can't kill X using ctrl+alt+backspace; Setting DontZap option explicitly to "false" in xorg.conf doesn't make it work either. There was a thread on DontZap stopped working and the getting fixed subsequently[1], but maybe it broke again? More importantly (topic), I noticed that my touchpad no longer responds. Recalling some changes with this respect on tech@ in the past few months I looked at synaptics(4) and tried to add an InputDevice section for it. But, I must be doing it wrong. I would appreciate a working configuration example or hints with this respect.
