I don't have the final answer, but maybe this will help someone: You probably mean FTDI, not FDTI. I presume you are looking for a way to use the FTDI chip bitbang method to program an Atmega microcontroller from an OpenBSD computer, via USB. I did find this: http://openports.se/misc/ftdi-eeprom I haven't tried it, and I know nothing about it.
