KMS porting efforts have stalled for a number of reason. I hope to revive my work on that in the coming weeks, but no promises. OTOH, the effort of backporting the sandybridge support from the current intel drivers back to the UMS version have made some progress thanks to kettenis@. I'm writing this mail on a ThinkPad X220 running the intel driver... There are still some rough edges but it should be ready for wider testing in the not too far future. -- Matthieu Herrb
