AngelouEconomics' Annual Economic Forecast:
So, What Is It?

Each year, an audience of about 800 executives gathers at the Austin
Convention Center, where Angelos Angelou delivers his annual economic
forecast.
One of the largest business events in Austin, Texas, guests enjoy
a served breakfast while gaining valuable insight into the Austin
and Central Texas economy.
This year's annual Economic Forecast Event, taking place the morning of
February 23, 2012, will be no different.
In his forecast, Angelos Angelou, Principal Executive Officer and Chief
Economist of AngelouEconomics, will review the Austin economy of 2011 and will
share his projections for 2012 and 2013. Keynote speaker, Jay H. Bryson,
Managing Director and Global Economist of Wells Fargo Securities, LLC will
discuss the U.S. economic outlook within the context of the global economy.
Why is the forecast important?
The state of the economy - local, regional, even national and global - can
have a direct influence over Austin's business climate. Projections for future
years can provide key insight and planning guidance for you and your
business(es). The annual Forecast helps to answer questions like, "How can I
expect the business markets to perform within the next two years?", "What
areas and sectors should I focus on for my business development and growth?",
and "How will Austin's economic landscape be changing over the next two years
and beyond?".
