how to use patterns with newsyslog ?

Hello!

I tried to use

/big/nginx/*.log                        644  100   10   *     Z
/var/run/nginx.pid SIGUSR1

in order to rotate many files at once, but even "newsyslog -v" show nothing.
is it possible to use patterns with newsyslog ?
