Hi list, I'm wondering if anybody is working on support for the Asus Xonar D2X (a branded CMedia 8788).
If not, then I was planning on having a look at the OSS driver from http://developer.opensound.com/sources/ (the page states that the sources are GPLv2 or CDDL 1, but I think it just hasn't been updated (there are source tarballs available in a "bsd" directory that includes a 2-clause BSD licence. Is there any reason that this would be a bad place to start? If so, can anybody suggest a better place? Thanks, Patsy
