This is very helpful. I have not yet got it working, but I think I am getting 
there.  I now have an inet6 address on the pppoe0 interface.

In the process of doing that now.

In your documentation, before the line:

  * Edit ?/etc/dhcp6c.conf? and add the following

You should have:

  pkg_add wide-dhcpv6
