Check your pcidump to see if you have a non Intel adapter present, its quite rare to have Intel integrated graphics and a secondary adapter in a laptop. I believe only the sandybridge-e models are produced without graphics. If you provide a dmesg to this list and I'm sure people can identify your chipset for you.
