If you wish to produce your own custom ISO, then you have pretty much only 2 options:
1 - just dump the distribution and installer on a CD 2 - come up with your own logical layout, perhaps a new installer or other value-added extras, i have considered this myself but would not want to take business away from the project Most people can probably be fine with just a dump of the distribution to CD and possibly the ports collection with other important packages. If you perform several installs on different machines and can't order the official CD set for some reason there's little point in wasting bandwidth doing a network install each time. Burn off a CD, pop the CD in each machine.
