jemalloc is pretty good. especially for a project expected to run on different platforms, as omalloc is designed with openbsd in mind. a blanket assertion that openbsd malloc is the best is ignoring a lot of practical details. I doubt the choice of malloc implementation has much effect on firefox's security, anyway.
