Normally, no. Also forget about X -configure. It's known to be more or less broken and nowadays you don't need an xorg.conf file to run X in most cases. If you need one, your favourite text editor (plus reading xorg.conf(5)) is the best tool to produce one. -- Matthieu Herrb
