Hi Group Has any of you experienced a problem with decrypting data after transfer or recording on cd after using aes-256-cbc encryption with salt and password on i386 OpenBSD 5.1 should be also aded that the file used to encrypt is file.tar.gz. After decription there is
digital envelope routines_DecryptFinal_ex:bad decrypt:/usr/src/lib/libssl/crypto/../src/crypto/evp/evp_enc.c:467 statment >From my research on the network ( google ) i found out that there may be a BOM problem another guess is that while record data on dvd (someone had the same problem with transfer via ftp )there is some strange behaviour with the password or decrypted file. Unfortunetlly i am not an expert in cryptography nor in c so code samples are welcome but i wont know what to do with them (familiar with basics only) Please help. Best Regards Tomek Marszał
