As far as I know, it just works. You may have to fiddle with hw.setperf though. My laptop comes up with hw.setperf=99, but it's not really the fastest setting. Upping it to 100 gives simple benchmark results consistent with running at the turbo frequency. I'd run sysctl hw.setperf=0; sysctl hw.setperf=100 at boot. (This is a common problem I think.)
