I would like to thank Michael for coming up with this idea. For those who missed the fine print, this will go to the OpenBSD Foundation. The donations the Foundation receives go exclusively towards funding OpenBSD project costs. This will join donations that fund approximately 90% of our hackathon costs (where much of our development happens), and around 90% of our network costs.
