I used an Asus XP55T2P4 for many years with no troubles. My current board is an Asus P2B which has been running smoothly since I bought it used a month ago. Only reason I upgraded was because the seller threw in a nice 4U rackmount server case for free! The XP55T2P ran OBSD from v2.7 through v3.7. Speaking strictly for myself I have always found them to be reliable.
