At ksh prompt, type a multibyte character, and move or backspace over
it, for examples:
• "é", backspace, enter; "é" is visibly deleted, but ksh says "ksh:
: not found"
• "é", home; cursor cuts into prompt
Tested in xterm and st with various multibyte characters, including "éẃγ♯".

Can anyone reproduce this?
