Some people prefer to build stuff from source on their own machine, instead of
having binary packages from (semi-)unknown sources. Or just because they like
to ;) And not all flavours are available as packages. Though yes, i guess in
this case they are.
It's also a good learning experience even if you do need a little help
from time to time.
I finally got it working once I realised how it all worked and figured
out that I needed to install the web interface from the package
manually, which although it was created with the make, it wasnt
installed with the make install.
So, yep, I've got a working system now. Thanks everyone for their help!
