No, it probably does not have anything to do with your issue. But since it's just 11 days from now, it's worth to wait for it. But this isn't a OpenBSD -> FreeBSD issue. That's why all my links between > locations are routed ones with OSPF on top. Using a bridge doesn't necessarily means you automatically connects the other networks to it. Also, you can always block undesired traffic with pf.
